A.C.T Heritage was established in 2014 by Andrew Cameron Taylor (ACT).

The purpose to provide a much needed service of high quality construction in environmentally sensitive and remote areas across the Highlands of Scotland.

A.C.T explore innovative construction techniques, which they can use combined with traditional methods to reduce the environmental and visual impacts. Andy’s 12 years experience across sites of special scientific interest, national scenic areas and high mountain landscapes has led him to instil in the A.C.T team, passion and appreciation for the special nature of the environments in which they work. A.C.T is made up of an experienced team of skilled and knowledgeable workers which all appreciate and enjoy the scenic places they work. We are constantly developing our work force, providing opportunities for our team to develop their skills and interests. A.C.T has had sustainable growth since it started and has become one of the key businesses in it’s area of expertise.

Our approach focuses not only providing sustainable access, but on minimising waste, recycling wherever possible, protecting wildlife and habitats, and preventing pollution. We also work to reduce our carbon footprint by using efficient vehicles, encouraging car sharing, optimising travel and sourcing materials locally.
