Clashnessie Falls Footpath Upgrade

Clashnessie Falls Footpath Upgrade.

Nestled in the rugged beauty of the Highlands, Clashnessie Falls has long been a treasured spot for locals and visitors alike. However, the original footpath leading to the falls had become severely eroded over time, with multiple boggy tracks forming and making access difficult.

Recognising the need for a sustainable and accessible route, we embarked on a comprehensive footpath upgrade, ensuring the community could continue to enjoy this stunning location without damaging the surrounding environment.

To construct the new path, we imported 50 tonnes of high-quality material and 30 tonnes of locally quarried stone, all transported via helicopter to minimise disruption and preserve the natural landscape. Carefully designed with cross drains and ditching for effective drainage, the new path is built to withstand the elements, providing a firm and reliable surface for walkers.

Now, Clashnessie Falls can be reached with ease, allowing locals and visitors to experience its breathtaking beauty without the struggle of navigating unstable terrain.

We’re proud to have contributed to the community by creating a durable, well-built path that respects the land and enhances the experience for all.
