Our Bridge and boardwalk team recently completed a demanding project to replace two aging footbridges at Abriachan, located on the picturesque side of Loch Ness. The remote and rugged terrain posed significant logistical challenges, necessitating the careful transport of all materials by hand and power barrows. Despite these obstacles, the team successfully installed new bridges featuring robust concrete foundations and 7-meter steel beams, complemented by wooden decking and handrails.

The new bridges not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area but also significantly improve safety and accessibility for locals and visitors alike. To accommodate the increased height of the new structures, the surrounding path network was meticulously upgraded, ensuring seamless integration with the bridges.
